Kurt Czurda

Kurt Czurda (* 1940 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian geologist .

Czurda studied geology at the University of Innsbruck , where he was awarded a Dr. phil. received his doctorate. After doctoral studies, he was in 1979 at the Technical University of Budapest Dr. Ing. (Civil engineering). In 1979 he received his habilitation in general and applied geology at the University of Innsbruck . From 1985 until his retirement in 2005, Czurda was a full professor for applied geology ( engineering geology ) at the University of Karlsruhe .

At the beginning of 1991 he founded the engineering office ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft Prof. Czurda und Partner in Karlsruhe .
