Kurt Erlemann

Kurt Erlemann (born April 22, 1958 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German Protestant theologian ( New Testament scholar ).

Life

From 1977 to 1982 he studied Protestant theology in Munich , Zurich and Heidelberg . In 1986, he was at Klaus Berger at the University of Heidelberg it a thesis on The image of God in the synoptic parables doctorate . From 1987 to 1990 he was vicar of the Baden regional church and then school pastor at the International Comprehensive School in Heidelberg . In 1994 he completed his habilitation at the University of Heidelberg and then took over professorial positions in Hamburg and Koblenz / Landau . Since 1996 he has been Professor of the New Testament and Old Church at the University of Wuppertal .

His main research interests are the interpretation of the parables of Jesus, studies of the New Testament talk of the Holy Spirit, the Judeo-Christian image of God and the Judeo-Christian process of separation.
