Kurt Gehrmann

Kurt Gehrmann (born November 14, 1911 in Elberfeld ; † October 1, 1973 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life

After attending elementary school , Gehrmann completed an apprenticeship as a printer and worked as a calculator and dispatcher in printing works. From 1953 to 1955 he was chairman of the works council of a large graphic company. From 1946 to 1950 Gehrmann was district chairman of the socialist youth workers " The Falcons ". He was a member of IG Druck und Papier and a member of the board of the union in Wuppertal . In addition, from 1958 he was chairman of the SPD sub-district of Wuppertal. Gehrmann was involved in the German Youth Hostel Association .

From July 13, 1954 to July 12, 1958 and from July 21, 1962 to July 25, 1970 Gehrmann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 054 Wuppertal-Elberfeld-Nord and 057 Wuppertal II.

He was a member of the Wuppertal City Council from 1952 to 1955.
