Kurt Haverbeck

Kurt Haverbeck (born February 22, 1899 in Hanover ; † March 16, 1988 there ) was a German hockey player and doctor.

Kurt Haverbeck made his debut in 1924 in the German national hockey team . At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 , three players from the DHC Hanover were part of the German squad with him, Heinz Wöltje and Herbert Hobein . In the opening game, the German team won against Spain, then lost 2-1 to the Dutch hosts. The offensive player did not take part in the following two games against France and Belgium, but also received the bronze medal after the victory of his teammates. Kurt Haverbeck played a total of 10 international matches from 1924 to 1928.
