Kurt Lehmann (born August 25, 1916 ; † unknown) was a German soccer player who was able to win the runner-up with SG Dresden-Friedrichstadt in the 1949/50 season in the GDR Oberliga .

career

Dresden, until 1950

The career of the young player Kurt Lehmann began at Sportfreunde 01 Dresden . Already at the age of 17 he was part of the first black and white team. In the 1933/34 season he celebrated promotion to the Gauliga Sachsen with the sports fans . After the Second World War he continued his career at SG Mickten and won the championship in 1947 and 1948 in the Dresden district and city league. For the round of 1948/49 the strong center forward brand "energischer Durchreißer" joined the team of player-coach Helmut Schön , the SG Friedrichstadt. The successor to the Dresdner SC won the championship in the Dresden district, but failed in the final round to ZSG Union Halle . In the first year of the GDR league, 1949/50, the attacker played 17 games and scored 17 goals. With the final defeat with 1: 5 goals against ZSG Horch Zwickau , Friedrichstadt landed in second place. After association sanctions due to massive spectator riots, player-coach Helmut Schön and several fellow players moved to Hertha BSC . Kurt Lehmann also joined this club after temporarily making a guest appearance at Wacker 04 Berlin .

Hertha BSC, 1950 to 1956

In the first round, 1950/51, Hertha came third in the Berlin City League . Lehmann came on 23 missions and scored 18 hits. Coach Schön moved to Wiesbaden and Josef "Jupp" Schneider was his successor. The veteran experienced in 1953 the descent to the amateur camp, 1954 the immediate return to the Berlin upper house, and in this round also six appearances with four goals in the games for the German amateur championship . After the round in 1955/56, under coach Paul Gehlhaar , the 39-year-old had played 21 games again and contributed five goals to tenth place for Hertha. After 110 games in the Stadtliga Berlin, Lehmann ended his playing career with 34 goals.
