Kurt Muhler

Kurt Mühler (* 1953 ) is a German sociologist .

Mühler did an apprenticeship with the Deutsche Reichsbahn and then studied sociology in Leipzig from 1973 to 1977 . In 1981, he was just there to forecast social change with a thesis on the methods doctorate , habilitation in 1987 with a study on the changes in life values in adulthood and is since 1992 Professor at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Leipzig .

His work focuses on theories of action , socialization theories and theories of deviant behavior .
