Kurt Rauxloh

Kurt Rauxloh (born February 23, 1906 in Rheydt ; † unknown) was employed as a supervisor in the inmate tailoring of the Ravensbrück concentration camp .

Life

Kurt Rauxloh, a tailor by trade, became a member of the NSDAP in 1936 . After being wounded on the Eastern Front , he was deployed from late 1943 to mid-April 1945 as an overseer in the prisoner tailoring of the Ravensbrück concentration camp.

After the end of the Second World War , Rauxloh had to answer for his crimes committed in the Ravensbrück concentration camp before a British military court in the sixth of the seven Ravensbrück trials . Rauxloh was sentenced to ten years in prison on July 26, 1948 for participating in the mistreatment of Allied prisoners. He admitted that he had beaten female inmates on the night shift in the industrial courtyard. After the verdict was confirmed on August 6, 1948, he remained in custody.

Kurt Rauxloh was released from prison on September 26, 1951 for health reasons. Nothing is known about his further life.
