Kurt Seeberger (born March 8, 1913 in Rockenhausen , Rheinpfalz, † June 13, 1994 in Munich ) was a German journalist and writer.

Career

Seeberger studied history, philosophy, art history and newspaper studies between 1934 and 1942 and received his doctorate in 1949 in Munich under Karl d'Ester on the subject of The American Newspaper Reporter. An experiment on the mass psychological driving forces in the USA press .

After completing his studies, Seeberger initially worked as a freelance journalist. In 1949 he came to Bayerischer Rundfunk as an editor . Numerous radio and television reports were made. In 1958 he went on the air with the magazine Kreuz und quer zum Wochenend (later from time to time ), which was broadcast weekly on Saturdays and made him known to a wide audience as a Saturday philosopher in over 1000 programs . In several publications he tried to present historical factual contexts in a generally understandable manner.
