Kurt Svensson

Kurt Svensson (born April 15, 1927 , † July 11, 2016 in Träslövsäge ) was a Swedish football player . For IS Halmia , the striker played 72 games in the Allsvenskan and scored 29 goals.

Career

Svensson played for IS Halmia between 1945 and 1950 in the Allsvenskan. Despite the relegation at the end of the 1949/50 season as bottom of the table, the B national player was part of the Swedish national team at the 1950 World Cup , but was not used during the tournament. After relegation, the offensive player ran until 1953 in the second-class Division II for IS Halmia. He then played for Varberg's GIF .

Svensson later worked as a trainer. In 1974 he won his fourth division season with IF Norvalla and rose to third division.
