Kurt Szilier (* 11. January 1957 in Lugoj ) is a Romanian - German gymnast and gymnastics coach.
Szilier participated as a member of the Romanian national team at the European Championships in 1977 , the European Championships in 1979 , the Olympic Summer Games in 1980 and the European Championships in 1981 . At the EM in 1981 he won a silver medal on the pommel horse .
After fleeing to the Federal Republic of Germany, he joined the SV Weiskirchen and was four times German champion in 1984 .
Today he is the regional coach of the Bavarian Gymnastics Association .
