Kurt Zimmerli

Kurt Zimmerli (* 1946 ) is a Swiss industrial designer and is known for designing the aluminum drinking bottle for SIGG , the so-called Sigg bottle.

Zimmerli was a mechanical draftsman and designer in 1966 before he went to the Basel School of Design in 1969 . From 1971 to 1985 he worked as a product designer at SIGG. He then started his own business with Zimmerli Design.

Zimmerli lives and works at Frauenfeld in Switzerland and has products a. a. Designed and developed in the household, furniture, medicine, electronics, mechanical engineering and sports sectors.

His most famous design is the aluminum drinking bottle for SIGG, which is also on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
