The Kusev Point (English; Bulgarian Кусев нос Kusew nos ) is a headland at the northern end of Pickwick Island in the Pitt Islands group in the Biscoe Islands archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms 1.6 km south of Sawyer Island and 1.6 km west-northwest of Plakuder Point the western boundary of the entrance to Misionis Bay .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the Bulgarian Metropolitan Metodij Kusew (1838–1922), a pioneer of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and the national unity of Bulgaria .
