Kuzma Demidowitsch Vysotsky
Kuzma Demidowitsch Vysotsky ( Russian Кузьма Демидович Высоцкий * October 18 . Jul / 31 October 1911 greg. In Winzentowka ; † 4. March 1940 in the Leningrad Oblast ) was a Soviet officer.
On January 15, 1940, he was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union for his service in the Winter War against Finland . In February 1940 he was wounded again and died in the hospital as a result .
The city of Vysotsk is named after him. Lieutenant Kuzma Vysotsky is buried in the Bogoslovskoye Cemetery in Saint Petersburg .
