Getting up early, hardworking and smart, Hinana Hanazawa is a model student - not only the best in her class, but also the student representative. But besides all the learning and helping around the house, she secretly raves about romances and love films and hopes that one day she will meet her dream prince. Her chance seems to have come when the famous actor Kaede Ayase is shooting a film at Hinana's school and she, like everyone else on the student council, is supposed to work as an extra.
So Hinana can get to know the handsome Ayase up close. But she quickly notices that behind his facade there is a tensioner that runs after all the girls and stares at their panties. Nevertheless, Hinana is still fascinated by him and soon meets him by chance in the cinema while watching a love story. He is helpful and friendly and actually seems interested in her. But these contacts immediately lead to rumors that circulate about her and the famous actor.

The manga has been published in Bessatsu Friend magazine in Japan since April 2015 . The Kodansha publishing house brought out the chapters in seven anthologies so far. These each sold over 100,000 times.
A German translation by Hana Rude has been published by Tokyopop since November 2017 in eleven volumes. The branch of the Japanese publisher Kodansha Comics in the USA publishes an English version under the title Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight .
