Kutjevo is a city in Požega-Slavonia County , Croatia . It is located about 20 kilometers northeast of the city of Požega .
The population according to the 2011 census is 6,247, of which 95.12% are Croatians .
history
Since the 12th century here was the Cistercian abbey monastery Kutjevo . It was later taken over by the Jesuits , who also built the current buildings. Today a winery is located there.
