Kwa Sani (Municipality)
Kwa Sani ( English Kwa Sani Local Municipality ) was a municipality in the Harry Gwala district , KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa . In 2011 the population was 12,898 on a total area of 1,180 km². The seat of the local government was Himeville . Mduduzi Banda was the last mayor. The community name refers to the Sani Pass , which was a trade route of the San between Lesotho and South Africa.
The towns in the parish were Underberg and Himeville.
The municipality was merged with the Ingwe Local Municipality in 2016 to form the municipality of Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma .
