Harry Gwala (until 2013 Sisonke ) is a district ( District Municipality ) in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa . It has 461,419 inhabitants (as of October 2011) on a total area of 10,547 km². The district administration is based in Ixopo . On September 19, 2013, the renaming of the District Municipality was announced with a publication in the Official Gazette of the Provincial Administration.
Sisonke is isiZulu for we are together .
