iLembe is a district within the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa . 606,809 inhabitants (as of October 2011) live on a total area of ​​3,269 km². The district administration is based in KwaDukuza .

iLembe is the isiZulu phrase to honor the name of King Shaka, who is buried near KwaDukuza.
