Kwai Chung ( Chinese 葵涌 , Pinyin Kuíchōng , Jyutping Kwai 4 cung 1 ) is the mainland portion of the district Kwai Tsing , one of the 18 districts ( districts ) of the SAR Hong Kong . The place is west of Kowloon and houses the container port of Hong Kong, which is the third largest in the world after Singapore and Shanghai .
