Kwame Amoateng (born August 8, 1987 ) is a former Swedish football player of Ghanaian origin.
Career
Amoateng played in his youth at Lundby IF before he joined the Gothenburg club GAIS as a junior player . In 2005 he was accepted into the professional squad and was used four times in the second-class Superettan . After promotion to the Allsvenskan , he was used here once and was then loaned out to third division club FC Trollhättan to gain match practice. In the following season he could not prevail at GAIS and was awarded to Husqvarna FF in 2007 . Before the 2008 season there was again a loan deal, together with Pontus Johansson he was given to Skärhamns IK .
In early 2009, Amoateng, who had played twice for the Swedish U19 youth team, left the Gothenburg club. Nothing is known about his further career.
