Kyle Ketelsen
Kyle Ketelsen (* in Clinton, Iowa) is an American opera singer ( bass baritone ).
Life
Kyle Ketelsen studied at the University of Iowa with Albert Gammon from 1991-1995 and then, on his recommendation, with Giorgio Tozzi at Indiana University Bloomington , where he graduated in 1999 with a Master of Music .
Guest contracts have taken Ketelsen to the New York City Opera , the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Bavarian State Opera , the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence .
His repertoire includes Leporello ( Don Giovanni ), Figaro ( Le nozze di Figaro ), Escamillo ( Carmen ) and Angelotti ( Tosca ).
Ketelsen lives in Wisconsin with his family .
