László Horváth (born April 21, 1946 in Csorna ) is a former Hungarian pentathlete .

Career

Horváth was part of the Hungarian squad at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow . In the individual competition, he finished 19th. With the team, which in addition to Horváth also included Tibor Maracskó and Tamás Szombathelyi , he won the silver medal behind the Soviet Union.

At world championships Horváth also secured several medals with the team. In 1973 and 1977 he won bronze, in 1979 he became vice world champion.
