László Szebellédy

László Szebellédy (born April 20, 1901 in Rétság , † January 23, 1944 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian chemist . He worked at the University of Budapest and was there from 1939 Professor of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. Together with his colleague Zoltán Somogyi, he developed coulometry as an analytical method. Szebellédy died in 1944 as a result of cancer.
