Léonard Limosin
Léonard Limosin (* around 1505 in Limoges , † around 1577 there ) was a French enamel painter and goldsmith .
According to dated works, he worked from 1532 to 1574 for the French kings Francis I and Henry II , as well as for many other personalities of the time. Among other things, he painted plates, bowls, jugs, bowls and medallions .
Some of his works are in the Louvre , including a depiction of the psyche after Raphael , two votive stones depicting the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and Francis I as Saint Thomas.
