Lígia Silva
Lígia Silva (born March 6, 1981 in Manaus ) is a Brazilian table tennis player . She took part in three Olympic Games and 13 world championships .

Lígia Silva started playing table tennis at the age of 13. She qualified for participation in the 2000 , 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics , but usually suffered significant defeats. Only in 2012 she managed to win a single against Anolyn Lulu from the island nation of Vanuatu; then she was eliminated by the Australian Jian-Fang Lay. Between 1999 and 2014 Lígia Silva took part in 13 world championships . Here, too, the international competition proved to be too powerful, they never came close to medal ranks.
She won twelve gold medals at Latin American championships:
