course

Their two source streams arise near Oberhof . The right source stream, the grassy Lütsche , rises about 760 m above sea level on the heap and flows through the spoonbühlsgraben and the Oberste Wiesengrund between the mountains of Gabelkopf and Lärchenkopf . The left source stream, the stony Lütsche , rises in the Hausbrunnen at a height of about 735 m and flows through the Langen Grund between the Lärchenkopf and Wadeberg mountains . Both unite in the Lütschetalsperre built in 1938 . The Lütsche leaves the dam and flows through the Lütschegrund. There are numerous quarries here. The Lütsche flows between the 677 meter high Borzel in the northwest and the 616 meter high Bergmannskopf in the southeast . The 3 km long Ensebach flows into the Lütsche from the north . The village of Lütsche used to be at the confluence . Below the Lütsche flows into the Wilde Gera in Graefenroda at the Herrenmühle .
