Lüttjepütt Prize

The Lüttjepütt Prize honors individuals and groups who have made a contribution to the Low German language and are particularly aimed at children and young people. The award, based on the book of the same name by Johann Diedrich Bellmann from the Niedersächsische Sparkassenstiftung, launched in 2006 , has been awarded every four years since 2007 and is endowed with 2000 euros (as of 2019).
