Stefanie Seemann

Stefanie Seemann (born May 14, 1959 in Mühlacker ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2016 .

education and profession

Stefanie Seemann completed school with the Abitur in 1978 at the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium Mühlacker and completed an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener. From 2011 to 2014 she also studied political, administrative and sociology at the Fern-Universität Hagen , graduating as a sociologist. Afterwards she worked at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology .

Political activity

She has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 1994 and has held various party functions. Seemann has been a member of the Mühlacker municipal council since 2009. In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , she won a direct mandate (first mandate) in the state electoral district of Enz . She is a member of the Committee on Science, Research and the Arts, the Committee on Social Affairs and Inclusion, and the Petitions Committee.
