LC Pedersen

LC Pedersen (born May 10, 1862 in Denmark ; died February 16, 1929 in Askov , United States ) was an American businessman and politician of Danish descent. From 1919 to 1922 he was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives for two terms as a non-party member .

Pedersen immigrated from Denmark to the American state of Minnesota in 1879 . He first settled in Alden in Freeborn County , where he worked as a farmer v. a. worked in the dairy industry. In 1894 he moved on to Tyler , Lincoln County , where he started a livestock business and produced and sold dairy products. His last place of residence was Askov in Pine County from 1906 , where Pedersen was successful as a retailer, became president of the local bank and was in charge of land development and allotment.
