L. Frank is a Franco-Belgian comic created by Jacques Martin . The focus of the adventure series is the reporter Luc Frank, who uncovered and thwarted criminal machinations in all parts of the world. The young boy scout Robert and Inspector Renard are at his side. He finds his worst adversary in the mysterious Axel Borg.

Jacques Martin wrote and sketched the adventure series. His successors as draftsmen were Bob de Moor , Gilles Chaillet , Christophe Simon , Francis Carin , André Taymans and Erwin Drèze , Régric and Alain Maury . Michel Jacquemart , Patrick Weber , Patrick Delperdange and Thierry Robrechte were responsible for the text .

The series appeared between 1952 and 1980 in the Belgian and from 1952 to 1982 in the French edition of Tintin . Le Lombard began the album release in 1954, which was continued by Casterman in 1965 . Carlsen released some of the albums in German-speaking countries. The new edition came from Casterman and Kult.
