The Air Force Sports Club Szczecin (short LSV Stettin ) was a military sports club from in today's Poland situated Stettin . The LSV Stettin was founded in 1939 in the vicinity of the locally stationed aircraft.
Soccer
Already in the first season the LSV was able to secure a starting place in the Gauliga Pommern -West as runner-up in the promotion round . In this one was a surprising season winner in 1940/41 and went to the final of the Gaume Championship against Germania Stolp , which they defeated 11: 1 and 2: 0. As a result, the Stettiner qualified for the final round of the German championship , but failed there despite a 3-2 success over forward lawn sport Gleiwitz as second in the group.
In the following season, another warning signal followed when the Pomeranians were only eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Tschammer Cup against Werder Bremen .
In the league, the LSV was able to achieve second place three times in a row, but no longer qualify for the German championship. In the 1944/45 season they entered the Gauliga Stettin, which was canceled in autumn due to the war. As a result, the LSV Stettin dissolved in September 1944.

The field handball team of LSV Stettin qualified as the winner of the Pomeranian division for the German field handball championship 1940/41 , but retired in the elimination round after a narrow 13:14 defeat against LSV Posen .
