The LVF - Adria to Palladio were the first steam locomotives of the Lombard-Venetian Ferdinand Railway (LVF).
The machines were built by Sharp in Manchester from 1842 to 1843 , whereby the last two delivered had a slightly smaller heating surface (see table).
At the LVF they were named ADRIA , ANTENORE , INSUBRIA , ITALIA , LEONE , SERPENTE , ENRICO DANDOLO and PALLADIO .
When the LVF was nationalized in 1852, they came under the same names to the Lombard-Venetian State Railways (LVStB).
