La Boom is a hamburger Dub - band . It consists of Jan Delay (from the beginners ) and Tropf , the producer of Samy Deluxe and Das Bo . La Boom began to publish their first tapes in 1998 on the Hamburg Eimsbush label . After these had unusually high sales, the CD Atarihuana followed in 2002 . The CD only contains instrumental pieces with a wide selection of samples that are most reminiscent of other hip-hop- inspired bands such as Massive Attack .
