La Junta is a place in Parker County in the American state of Texas and is located on Texas State Highway 199 , directly south of the city limits of Reno and west of Sanctuary at an altitude of 249 m. He has the status of an unincorporated area ("Unincorporated Area"). The place is served by the US Post Office of Springtown and was added to the Geographic Names Information System in November 1979 .
In La Junta there is a church of the Southern Baptist Convention , the La Junta Baptist Church , a division of the fire department of Parker County and the Camping La Junta RV Park.
In 2012, 108 people were connected to the water supply in La Junta.
