The Lac Aigneau is a lake in the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Aigneau is located on the Labrador Peninsula 140 km southwest of Kuujjuaq . The lake is located in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of about 230 m . It has a length in north-south direction of 11.5 km and a width of 2.8 km. The water area is 34 km². The lake is traversed by the Rivière Aigenau , a right tributary of the Rivière aux Mélèzes , in a northerly direction.
The Lac Aigneau was named after Marquis P. d'Aigneau (or Aigneaux), administrator of the Société Revillon Frères , which operated in Labrador fur trade .
