The Lac Châteauguay is a lake in the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Châteauguay is located on the Labrador Peninsula 50 km west of Lac Cambrien . It is traversed by the Rivière Châteauguay , a left tributary of the Rivière Caniapiscau , in a northeastern direction. Its area is 68 km². The lake is 17 km long and 9 km wide and lies in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 323 m .
The lake was named after Louis Le Moyne de Châteauguay (1676-1694).
