The Lac Françoys-Malherbe is a lake in the Canadian province of Québec .
Lac Françoys-Malherbe is located in the far north of the Ungava Peninsula in the administrative region of Nord-du-Québec . It is located 12 km east of the Baie Déception at an altitude of about 70 m . The elongated narrow lake has a north-south extension of 20 km and a width between 1 and 1.5 km. The lake covers an area of 25 km². In the middle section of the lake, it is framed on the eastern and western banks by 300–450 m high mountains. Lac Françoys-Malherbe is fed at its southern end by the outflow from the neighboring Lac Watts . At its northern end, its water flows off to the Rivière Déception .
The lake was named after a member of the Hudson's Bay Company .
