The Lac Houël is a lake in the north of the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Houël is located 150 km southeast of the Kuujjuaq settlement on Ungava Bay in the north of the Labrador Peninsula . Lac La Moinerie is 20 km north . The lake is in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 306 m . The Lac Houël has a length of 13 km. Its area is 28 km². The lake is drained in a westerly direction to the Rivière Marralik .
Lac Houël was named after Louis Houel , Sieur du Petit-Pré.
