The Lac Romanet is a lake in the northeast of the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Romanet is located 220 km south of Ungava Bay in the center of the Labrador Peninsula . The lake is in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of about 303 m . The Lac Romanet has an open water surface. Its length is 23 km, its width 7 km. The lake has an area of 88 km. It is drained to the northwest by the Rivière Romanet to Lac Nachicapau .
The Lac Romanet and its drain were named after Louis Romanet , one of the founders of today's Kuujjuaq at the beginning of the 20th century.
