The Lac de Warfaaz is a small reservoir of the Wayai brook , which flows through the Belgian town of Spa and flows into the Hoegne in Theux .
The reservoir has an overflow which - depending on the weather, becomes stronger or weaker - into an artificial waterfall .
The lake is located above the center of Spa, the site of the Belgian performance center for sports promotion La Fraineuse and along the Wayai, as well as below the Dorint Hotel. It is popular for various leisure activities, and new fish are put into the lake every year for anglers. There is a restaurant on the road that runs over the dam .
