The Lac du Pélican is a lake on the Ungava Peninsula in the north of the Canadian province of Québec .
The Lac du Pélican is located in the area of the Canadian Shield 30 km north of Lac Payne at an altitude of 161 m . The 157 km² lake has numerous islands that divide the lake into several side bays. It has a length of 48 km and a maximum width of 15 km. The Rivière Breslay drains the lake and flows from its south bank to Lac Payne.
The lake was named after the French frigate Pélican , which sailed through Hudson Bay in the late 17th century .
