The Lachman Lakes are two small lakes in the north of the Ulu Peninsula on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . They are between Berry Hill and Cape Lachman .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2015 based on the naming of the cape of the same name. Its namesake is J. Lachman, a sponsor of the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901-1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld .
