The Laguna Tuyajto is an outflow-free salt lake , at 4040 m above sea level. M. in the north Chilean Altiplano of the Andes . The water level is a maximum of 2.7 km² with an average depth of 0.35 m. The lake gets its water from six springs in its vicinity, which are fed by rain and melt water from a 249 km² catchment area .
