The Lahnerkopf is the highest peak of a ridge to the east of the Risserkogel , which stretches for a length of approx. 1 km over the Lahnereck and Lahnerkopf to the east and then falls over the Lahnerschneid to the Valeppalm approx. 600 m below .
On the north side the ridge drops down to the Lahneralm . There is a small lake with no outflow, the Höllache .
The back is pathless and overgrown with mountain pines, so rarely visited. At the highest point, however, there is a now derelict summit cross with a summit book.
