Laima Domarkaitė

Laima Domarkaitė (born April 1, 1970 in Plungė ) is a Lithuanian chess player and chess referee .

Life

Your trainer was Vitalius Vladas Andriušaitis (1926-2006). Domarkaitė was Lithuanian women's individual champion in 1987, 1989, 1995 , and vice- champion in 2014 and 2017. In 1990, 2000 and 2016 she took 3rd place in the individual championships for women.

In 1998 Domarkaitė was named FIDE Women's Champion. She has had the title FIDE Arbiter since 2014, and has been an International Arbiter since 2015 .

Team chess

With the Lithuanian team, Domarkaitė took part in the women's chess Olympiads in 2000 and 2014 . In Lithuania, she played for VŠK Bokštas Plungė , with whom she took part in the European Club Cup in 2007 and in the European Club Cup for women in 1996, as well as for the team of Širvinta Vilkaviškis , which she represented at the European Club Cup for women in 1998 and 1999. In the Polish team championship Domarkaitė played in 1990 and 1991 on the women's board of KSz Hańcza Suwałki.
