Saint-Antoine ( Occitan Sent Antoni ) is a former French community with 415 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belonged to the Arrondissement of Blaye and is part of the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-André-de-Cubzac ).
Since January 1, 2016, Saint-Antoine has been part of the municipality of Val de Virvée with Aubie-et-Espessas and Salignac .
geography
Saint-Antoine is located about 23 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux and, with an area of 18 hectares, was one of the smallest municipalities in France.
