The Lake Dolgoe ( English , Russian Озеро Долгое Ozero Dolgoje , German , Long Lake ' ) is a narrow, 7.5 km long and 200 m is on average broad lake at the Knox Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It is 3 km south of Edgeworth David Base in the Bunger Hills . Its south bank is steep and cliffs rise on its west and north banks .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this name into English in 1992.
