Lake Henderson is a lake up to 150 m deep in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . With an area of 84.5 hectares , it is the largest lake in the Framnes Mountains . About 40 large boulders rest on its permanently frozen surface.
Scientists at Mawson Station had named it for years after its proximity to Mount Henderson before the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia officially recognized this name in 2005.
