Lake Jabs

The Lake Jabs is a small lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Vestfold Mountains, it is located in the center of the Breidnes Peninsula, immediately east of Club Lake .

Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947), aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions made between 1954 and 1958, and those of a Soviet Antarctic expedition from 1956 were used to map it. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Brian Victor Jabs, a meteorologist at the neighboring Davis Station in 1961.
