The Lake Lucille is a 1.4 square kilometers large lake in Wasilla, Alaska in the US state of Alaska .
Lake Lucille is just off the Parks Highway , the main route between Fairbanks and Anchorage . According to state environmental officials, the lake is deprived of oxygen due to the amount of sewage pipes, which leads to regular fish deaths. Most of the shore is private property. Among other things, the former governor Sarah Palin owns a private house on Lake Lucille.
